Resurface collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server of ours anywhere in the app.
Your notes
Notes are stored on your device and, if you're signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud database. That database belongs to your Apple Account. We can't read it, and neither can Apple. Without iCloud the app still works and the notes stay on the device.
Speaking a note
Voice capture asks for the microphone. Speech is transcribed on the device by iOS — the audio isn't sent to us or to Apple. Nothing leaves your phone except through your own iCloud sync, exactly like a typed note.
What we collect
Nothing. The app makes no network requests of its own. Apple gives us the same anonymous download and crash figures it gives every developer; we never see who you are and never see anything you wrote.
Deleting it
Delete the app to remove the notes on the device, then remove Resurface's data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
